This section walks you through setting up your streaming software and configuring Twitch to broadcast your AI agent live. It includes detailed steps for integrating with OBS and the necessary Twitch settings to ensure a smooth streaming experience.
Recommended Software: (Open Broadcaster Software) OBS is a free, open-source tool for setting up and broadcasting live streams. Here's how to set it up:
Install OBS Studio:
Download and install OBS Studio from the official website.
Complete the setup wizard to optimize your settings based on your hardware and network.
Add Your Avatar:
If using a 2D avatar (e.g., VeadoTube or Live2D):
Open the avatar software and set up your character.
Use OBS to capture the avatar window using the Window Capture source.
If using a 3D avatar (e.g., VSeeFace):
Open the 3D software and configure the avatar.
Use OBS to capture the avatar window or output with the Game Capture source.
Add Your Background and Overlays:
Add a Background layer in OBS (e.g., an image, video, or gradient) to give your stream a polished look.
Add any custom overlays like chat widgets, alerts, or branding to enhance engagement.
Configure Audio:
Ensure the AI’s voice output is routed through OBS. Use your system’s sound settings to make the avatar’s voice the primary audio source.
Follow these steps to prepare your Twitch channel for streaming:
Stream Key Setup:
Go to your Twitch dashboard: Twitch Creator Dashboard.
Navigate to Settings > Stream.
Copy your Stream Key.
Add Stream Key to OBS:
Open OBS and go to Settings > Stream.
Select Twitch as your service.
Paste your Twitch Stream Key into the field.
Twitch Channel Settings:
Set a title and category for your stream (e.g., "Live with DogeBot" under the "Just Chatting" category).
Enable or disable chat options like "Subscribers Only" or "Follower Mode" depending on your audience.
